How can I stop the Fios battery?
I'm getting sounds that my battery needs to be replaced.I don't want to replace my battery.I disconnected it.The Alarm Silence button was pressed.That only works for a short time.How do I get the sound to stop?
There are different BBU models.Some will stop and some won't.If you schedule a technician visit, they can upgrade you to the newer power adapter that doesn't have the battery.
The equipment change will not cost anything.Call them and tell them that you don't want a new battery and that they should change to a power adapter.

1.The batteries are obsolete.They replace these when they upgrade to giga-speed.
