How To Add Music to Your Instagram Story on Android
This article shows you how to add music to your story.Adding pictures and videos to your story is a fun way to interact with your audience or to let your friends know what you are up to.Adding music is a great way to express yourself.
Step 1: Swipe right to open the camera.
You will be taken to the Home tab when you first open the app, where you will find posts from everyone you follow.You can access your camera with a finger.The camera icon can be found in the top left corner of the screen.
Step 2: You can take a picture or record a video.
The button at the bottom of the screen can be used to take a photo or record a video.If you want to finish recording the video, stop holding down the button.The square icon in the bottom left corner of the screen is where you can find if you have an existing photo or video.You can choose from your photos and videos when you are taken to your phone's gallery.You can change the flash on your phone with the lightning bolt icon.You can turn your phone's camera around by using the icon of two revolving arrows.You can add a filter to your story by using the smiley face icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Step 3: The Stickers icon is on the screen.
There is a menu of options at the top of your screen.The middle button looks like a square face with an upturned bottom corner.You can add stickers to your picture or video with this option.
Step 4: There is a Music sticker.
One of the top sticker options should be the Music sticker.It has a white background and is in bright colors.You can bring up the music library by tapping on this.
Step 5: You can find the song by tapping it.
You can type in a song name with the tap on the top of the screen.You can scroll through the tabs Popular, Moods and Genres.When you find the perfect song to use with your picture or video, tap on it.
Step 6: There is an audio clip from the song.
You can include a clip of the song in your Story.To find the perfect audio clip, hold your finger down on the audio bars at the bottom of the screen and move it left or right.In the top right corner of the screen, tap "Done" to finish.There is a circle around the number 15 near the bottom left corner of the screen.You can change how many seconds of the song you want to play.It can be as short as 5 seconds and as long as 15 seconds.
Step 7: Move the sticker.
A sticker of your song can be seen over your video or picture.Move the sticker by pressing a finger down.Two fingers can be used to make the sticker bigger or smaller.
Step 8: The bottom left corner has your profile picture on it.
Your profile picture is in the bottom left corner of the screen once you are happy with your creation.Underneath it, it will say your story.The picture or video will be posted to your account.
