Is Intel Extreme Tuning Utility safe?
from what i understand, its not very reliable. the bios/mobo is your primary controller of hardware, and when a software comes in and tries to take over, things do really translate very cleanly. too many variables for software to control reliably. like cpu speed, nb and sb voltage, cpu voltage.
What cpus does Xtu support?
Identify your Intel® Processor then check if it supports the Intel® XTU in the available list. Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility is only supported on Desktop, High-End Mobile, and High-End Desktop (HEDT) platforms. Intel® XTU is not supported on server, Celeron®, or Intel Atom® Processors.
Can I use Intel Xtu on Ryzen?
No. Ryzen Master only supports AMD Ryzen processors, which are all designed for the AM4 chipset. For Intel overclocking, the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (XTU) is needed.
Can you use Intel Xtu on AMD?
Intel produced utilities will not work on an AMD cpu because of different architectures and other constraints.

Can you Undervolt on a laptop?
Your CPU may be even more capable of undervolting, or less. You will need to fiddle up and down a bit to find a stable undervolt. Remember that you will need to do this for 3 things: CPU Core, CPU Cache, and Intel GPU. Tick the “Unlock Adjustable Voltage” box under “CPU Core Voltage”.
