Make sushi without seaweed.

The rice filled seafood rolls wrapped in seaweed are usually the picture people think of when thinking of sushi.Try something different if you're looking for sushi that doesn't have the seaweed wrapper.It is possible to thinly cut a cucumber to use as a sushi wrapper.You can use a variety of fun colors with the soy wrapper.You're sure to create memorable sushi that doesn't rely on seaweed.

Step 1: Peel a cucumber after washing it.

Cucumbers can be washed in cool water.Carefully peel the cucumber with a vegetable peeler or cheese knife.Remove the ends of the cucumber with a sharp knife.The ends can be thrown away.

Step 2: Cut the cucumber into pieces.

A sharp wet sushi knife should be inserted into the cucumber.You should slowly slide the blade around the cucumber to cut it.Continue cutting until you reach the center of the cucumber.If you remove the knife from the cucumber, it will fall away from it's core.The cucumber should be 1/3 of a cm thick, so you can barely see the sushi knife through it.You can keep the knife wet by putting a bowl of water on the counter.It will be easier to slide through the cucumber with this.

Step 3: The tuna must be sliced.

Take a small piece of tuna and slice it.The tip of the knife should end up on the board if you slice down towards you in one fluid movement.Continue slicing the piece of tuna.The slices should be 1/3 to 1/2 of a centimeter thick.

Step 4: Put your ingredients on the wrapper.

The cucumber should be completely open on your cutting board.Place the tuna on the cucumber.Lay the tuna next to each other.Take a piece of tuna and put 2 slices ofavocado on top of it.The cucumber wrapper should hold 1/3 of the tuna.

Step 5: The cucumber roll has tuna on it.

Start at the end of the cucumber wrapper.Use your hands to fold the cucumber wrapper over the food.Continue rolling.You don't need to use a sushi mat since there is no rice in this roll.

Step 6: Cut the roll with a Seal and Seal.

Spread a small amount of mayonnaise, yogurt, or mascarpone cheese on the last inch or two of the cucumber when you've finished rolling it.Roll the cucumber wrapper so it's completely sealed.The seal should be on the bottom of the board.Remove the ends.Each slice of the cucumber roll should be 1/6 of an inch.The mayonnaise, yogurt, or spreadable cheese will help keep the cucumber closed.

Step 7: You can serve the roll.

Place the slices of tuna on the plate.You can put salmon roe on top of the slices.Consider using shredded daikon, baby carrot, and soy sauce for your tuna cucumber roll.

Step 8: There is a soy wrapper with rice.

The cutting board has a bamboo sushi mat on it.There is a soy wrapper on the mat.Put 5 ounces (150 grams) of cooked Pink Himalayan or plain sushi rice onto half of the soy wrapper.The rice should be spread evenly on the half closest to you.

Step 9: It is a good idea to put a piece of fruit across the rice.

Cut anavocado into slices.On top of your rice lay 4 or 5 slices of theavocado.The length of the wrap should be spread out so that each bite of sushi gets a small amount ofavocado.Substitute seafood, cucumber, tamago, or crispy seafood skin for your favorite sushi filling.

Step 10: Take the sushi and roll it.

You can hold the side of the bamboo sushi mat that is closest to you.Lift the bamboo mat over the roll.The bamboo mat will hold the cylindrical avocado roll.Lift the bamboo mat from the roll by pressing it down firmly.The sushi roll will be in the middle of the mat.seaweed (nori) wrappers seal better than soy paper.

Step 11: You can seal the roll.

The end of the soy wrapper should be visible under the roll.You can spread your fingertips across the soy wrapper by dipping them in water.Roll the sushi to the end of the roll so that the seals don't get wet.

Step 12: Take the sushi roll out.

Carefully trim off the ends of the sushi knife.You have the option to discard them.Take the sushi roll and slice it into 8 slices.If you slice the roll in half, you can get 8 pieces.When cutting soy wrappers, be careful.seaweed wrappers tear more easily than soy ones.

Step 13: To serve the sushi roll, serve it by the side.

Put your slices on the plate.Next to the pieces, place sliced or curled carrots and cucumber.A bit of ginger and a dash of paste should be placed on the plate.Along with the sushi roll, offer soy sauce.
