Virtually all fescues can produce a rhizome.These will only grow to be about 14 inch long making them useless.The wide bladed clumps that are noted for are not prevented by them.The rhizomes do not self repair in a reasonable time.These claims are very misleading.There is only one fescue that has received a US Patent.If the grass has a very unique difference compared to other varieties in the same species, it will be granted a patent.There was a unique difference listed.
