Step 12: The object blocker should be raised out of the way. Remove the object blocker and the laser beam will hit the film plate.The book should be lowered after 10 seconds to cover the laser beam. Step 13: The kit has instructions on how to mix the chemicals. The processing powders should be mixed with the powerful chemicals in transparent bowls.Carefully read the packaging instructions and add the directed amounts of water and solution mixes in separate bowls, stirring with a metal object.Unless directed by the packaging, do not stir solution mixes together.The packaging instructions should be followed carefully.Always wear safety goggles and rubber gloves when handling chemicals.The developer and bleach solution should be included in most kits.They should be mixed separately. Step 14: For 30 seconds, dip the hologram in the developing solution. To wiggle the hologram back and forth in the solution, use metal tongs.After 30 seconds, rinse the hologram in a bowl of water. Step 15: The process should be repeated with the bleach solution. If you want to get the object in the bleach solution, drag it with the metal tongs.After 20 seconds have passed, rinse the hologram in water.If the instructions don't say so, it's safe to use the same water bowl. Step 16: The plate needs to be dry against a wall. Put a paper towel under the hologram plate to catch drips.The plate should be left undisturbed until it is dry to the touch.The plate should take between 2 and 3 hours to dry. Step 17: The hologram's images are not perfect. You can inspect your hologram after the plate dries.You have made a hologram if you are satisfied with the finished image.If you don't like the hologram's image, try a new film plate or contact a professional hologramgrapher.If your first hologram doesn't turn out as you were expecting, do not be discouraged.It takes time and practice to make high-quality holograms.
