Anyone who wears makeup can like the look of a smoky eye.It's a simple look to achieve with the right colors and method.
Step 1: Choose colors that make your eyes look bigger.
You can give your eyes a boost by using different eyeshadow and eyeliner colors.Blue eyes are light, natural tones like coral and champagne.Your pale eyes may be overshadowed by an overly dark, smoky look.Most colors work with brown eyes.A splash of black shadow in the crease of your eye will make your eyes pop.Green eyes have purple and brown color.Grey eyes have sooty and smoky shades of grey, blue, and silver.You can see green and gold in your eyes with metallics and pastels.It's best to aim for something delicate, like a dusty pink or a soft copper or gold.

Step 12: You should consider applying eyeliner to your upper lashes.
You can use a pencil or liquid eyeliner for this.Start in the middle of your lash line, then in short, gentle strokes, pull the outward eyeliner back through the center and toward your inner eye corner.You can smudge the eyeliner with a smudge brush, Q-tip, or finger if you want it to stand out from the eyeshadow in a harsh line.If you only use one shade of eyeshadow, eyeliner is a must as it is necessary for creating that dark-to-light look the smoky eye is known for.If you use a lot of eyeshadow, you can skip the eyeliner.If you don't like the look of the eyeliner at the corners of your eyes, you can adjust it by gently nudging it with a Q-tip and applying a small amount of face cream.
Step 13: Everything should be blended together.
If you want to get rid of lines in your eyeshadow, start at the outer corner of your eye and move toward the inner corner, using a blending brush.If you only use 1 shade of eyeshadow and a slightly darker eyeliner, you have already blended away the harsh lines by using the eyeliner too much.To make the eyeshadow look better, you may want to use a Blending brush over the top edge.
