Acid washed concrete pool deck can be washed with a mild acid wash.
Can someone tell me how to acid wash a pool deck?The pool builder did a terrible job with the deck.Thanks.
We poured an aggregate deck as well.After the pour it was so poorly washed and patched that they ripped it out and we are starting over.
The deck finish was warrantied.Do you think it would be a good idea to tell your friend that they need another acid wash?You shouldn't have to pay for that on a new build.
I agree with Goyom.There is an issue with the deck sub.I don't know what the deck guys use for acid washing, but I think it would be a muratic acid at a ration to water amount.It's not something you want to do on your own, it could end up with damage to surrounding rock or other materials.We had deck issues as well, but we were able to get a new deck out which we are really happy with.
Thanks for your reply.We didn't know about the pipe busted under the deck until the pool started.I was a pipe to a bubbler.A crew came out and repaired the deck after the plumbers broke it.It doesn't match.It is not poured from a truck like the rest.The deck crew told me to acid wash it.I'm not sure.The rest of the deck is too gray.Our pool was aggregate and not gray.They didn't hand seed it enough and waited for a long time.I want the PB to personally see it.
The cut on the patch job was not straight.I hope I'm not a difficult customer because we've spent too much.Is it possible to accept a new pool this way?
The deck is visible.You can see the gray and not many stones.They washed it with acid.There is a contrast between the patched deck and the picture in the upper left corner.!gwi
We're going through the same thing right now.The crew spilled acid on the deck.They cut out a section after patching over the spots.The new section isn't as obvious as the rest of the deck.We have a person coming out tomorrow morning to make a decision.You should keep pushing for a better fix.
They can either fix the issue or compensate you for it.My eyes would always be drawn to that area and it would stick out like a blemish on a bare butt to me.That's right.
Has the new section dried yet?You can't compare the color tone of the matrix until it's fully dried, and the exposed peagravel compared the existing quadrants on the sides.
