Most credit cards have quirks for adding it to Apple Pay.Not all of them can be added to Apple Pay.Starbucks Card must be downloaded to your device in order to be done.Follow the directions to the "Next" located at the top right corner of the Wallet after opening it.It's important that your name is similar to your account on the Wallet App.If you have a Discover Card that reads your legal name on the face, then that name must be the same on your Apple wallet. At the end of the adding process, if it doesn't match, a pop window will read, contact issuer or try again.I hope this helps.

I'm not sure if Panera has it yet.I was trying to do the same thing, but I don't know where to start. It will come soon with an update.

I think he's looking for the new feature that was announced during the WWDC, where when you tap to pay, your loyalty program is automatically applied.

There are only a few reward cards/loyalty cards that can be added to your Apple wallet right now.I have read online and more will be coming this fall.

1.You can buy gift cards from the respective stores. The minimum amount for Starbucks is 10 dollars. They can be used to pay for coffee.

4.Pick "My Card" on the bottom left corner of the mobile application and add your gift card over there.

5.Pick "PAY" option on top left corner of the mobile application and add your gift card over there.

Sometimes you will see a blank screen at Walgreen.Go ahead and uninstall the app. This will work.

The Apple site says you should be able to add myPanera to the wallet.

It says "It's easy to reap the rewards".I can't get the card into the app.

It doesn't say anything about Apple Pay in the app.The only thing it says is Apple Watch.

Does this mean that Apple doesn't allow third party apps to add arbitrary cards with the original PassBook?I have a bunch of memberships and non-rewards types of cards, which were entered with the camera or by hand, via LifeLock Wallet or its predecessor Lemon Wallet. There is no way to add cards like that in the current Apple wallet. Is Apple giving up on the idea of an open wallet?

I have various travel "frequent flyer" program cards, and I think that it still works.Your picture taking/scanning app probably did the same thing as they were added via other apps. For things like flight boarding passes, the respective apps add them in.

I'm talking about loyalty cards that can be used at the point of sale to provide discounts and other perks. The activated loyalty card would be similar to a credit/debit card in that it can be used at checkout. All the major grocery chains have the same concept and that's what I'm looking to do.During the keynote, I believe the point of the loyalty card announcements was.

My question is about cards that don't have apps.I found out via the App Store's "Browse for Wallet Apps" feature that AAA does.LifeLock withdrew its app due to security concerns, but the wallet cards it created are still on my phone.

There are no apps in the App Store that allow you to add arbitrary cards.Mobile Pocket, Stocard, and Key Ring are stand-alone apps that do not add your card to Apple wallet. If true, it's too bad that Apple closed and locked down the Wallet system.

I spoke to Apple support. Both of them have no idea how to get this to work.

I only use apple pay to refill my Starbucks card.I will have to try it at a store.I don't purchase drinks on my Starbucks card.I don't pay for a drink with Apple Pay.

Even though Apple says it does rewards cards/loyalty cards, it really only does a very limited number of store credit cards and maybe a gift card or two of the mag-stripe kind.

I was hoping to transfer my Key Ring app cards to Wallet, but it's not possible.Whenever possible, I prefer to reduce the number of apps I have. It's time to #clutter.

It's up to the businesses that operate the rewards program. The retailer can make the rewards card available in two ways. They can add them to a wallet. The information can be passed if their terminal supports it.

Because Apple does not support all of the possible bar code types, companies that use a UPC type can't add theirs.

Only Walgreens has the ability to send your rewards information to the POS using Near Field Communication.
