The valve kit was a great replacement for my unit.I was able to replace the old valve in 10 minutes.This part is very good.

I need to replace the saddle valve after I installed it.I can't assess the valve operation until I do that.

Product and order worked.It would be great if there were illustrations that showed how to use the parts in the package.
The replacement for the HE260 valve is 25% cheaper than the original price.It was easy to install and ship.
The new one cost me $75 at the local appliance supply distributor.The first try was a success.That didn't happen on the more expensive version.The mounting holes were lined up perfectly.It was a good delivery.It was ordered on a Saturday and delivered by Thursday.
It works as advertised, but I wouldn't call it a direct replacement.The gap between the screw holes for mounting was larger than the one for the original.It was the cheapest price I could find.
When you order universal items, you wonder if they will work.Our humidifier works great now that this one did.We could find fast shipping and the cheapest online.

The valve appears to be of quality material, however it is not a perfect solution for the HE260.The water flow is throttled by a tiny hole in the inlet fitting.Too much water flow can be caused by the unrestricted inlet fittings that come with this kit.If you don't have a shut off valve, you're out of luck.The correct fix was to buy a hardware kit with the correct inlet fitting.I found the part at a reasonable price at Supply House.
It was necessary to replace my humidifier.The unit cost less than the original part.Time will tell if the 15 minute install time works well.

My humidifier has a valve on it.The first one I ordered from Amazon did not have the same port, but this one has enough options to fit.
It works as well as the original at a fraction of the cost of a new replacement and less than half the price.The wires need to be swapped from the original to the new one.The original plumbing was retained.USPS shipping was quick as well.Overall, very happy.Thank you.
