At the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Dave Matthews talked about his band's violinist.

Tinsley is best known for being a member of the Dave Matthews Band.

Tinsley was raised in a musical family.His father was a choir director and his uncle a bassist.[2]

Tinsley attended the University of Virginia.He became a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity while there.[2]

Tinsley was asked by Dave Matthews to play violin on a demo tape.Tinsley left his band to join the Dave Matthews Band.He became a full-time band member in 1992.Matthews said there were no plans to add a violinist.We wanted the fiddle to be tracked on the song "Tripping Billies", because it was a friend of Leroi.It just clicked when he came in.That solidified the band and gave it more power.[4]

Tinsley had developed arthritis in his right hand after struggling at shows in Australia.Tinsley underwent carpal tunnel syndrome surgery.[5]

Tinsley took a leave of absence from the band to focus on his health.Tinsley was fired by the band in response to a lawsuit filed by a former band member.It was 6 and 7.

Crystal Garden was formed in August of 2015.He searched for a group of musicians who would form a rock band.Tinsley said that the band was an idea he had three years ago.I wanted to create a young rock band that was similar to the real rock bands of the 1960s and 1970s.You know, something rocking from the heart and expressing something real.Tinsley produced the first studio album, Let The Rocks Cry Out, which they tracked in their first week of recording sessions.The album was released on all platforms.There were many morning shows where the band appeared.There are 9 and 11 in this story.

Tinsley was sent a demand letter by attorneys for former Crystal Garden band member James Frost-Winn in order to obtain an out-of-court settlement in regards to sexual harassment allegations.The case was settled in June.It was [13].

Tinsley was a guest on the second album of The Getaway People.There are no comments at this time.

The title track of Tinsley's 2003 solo album, True Reflections, was written a decade earlier.Tinsley was the main writer of the album.Tinsley does not feature much violin playing in True Reflections.[15]
