This is great!Our elementary school sells pre-packaged supplies for each grade based on the lists from the school.People buy them because they are so expensive.Really?$60-$80 per child.Unless you wait until the last minute, supplies shouldn't cost that much.I like Walmart's price matching.I was able to match the prices of the binders at Walmart and the dividers at Staples yesterday.The closest store to my home is Walmart, which is about a mile away.No mistake!Thank you, Walmart!Also, iheartthemart, too!
Also keep an eye on prices.The four pack of dry erase markers was only 2.50 at walmart.If you bought in packs, glue sticks were more expensive.I try to keep a list of what things cost each year and where I got it so the next year I know what prices to look for.When teachers ask for more supplies in January, I buy extras because they are much cheaper now.When school supplies go on clearance in September, I get the lists from the next few years my daughters will be in and stock up on some items, especially big items like binders and folders.

Great reminder about stocking up.I do the same thing.It is amazing how expensive these supplies are at this point in the year.
Another thing to think about.If you find a great price on supplies that are on a teacher's "most wanted" list, buy a few extra.Maybe at Christmas time, these things will be appreciated.I have taught school for 24 years.
I asked for a raincheck because my Walmart was out of glue sticks.They looked at me and thought I was crazy.When they have them back in at the same price, I can just come back and get them.No form was needed.I got her name, but not sure about that.
