Hurricane Andrew destroyed Burger King's headquarters in 1992.In 1997, Grand merged with Guinness and paid more attention to its alcoholic properties, which led to a decline in sales of Burger King.

Burger King's IPO generated $425,000,000 in revenue and was helped by Goldman and Bain Capital.The Whopper Bar concept allowed customers to see their burger being made.In 2010 the company was sold to 3G Capital for $3.2 billion.
