As long as the HDMI signal is still an HDMI signal, it will work with a TV or PC. There is no difference. That is why you can just plug a cable between any of them, and they all work.Jun 7, 2015
Is there a way to add more HDMI ports?
The easier and more affordable option is just to buy some extra ports in the form of an HDMI switch. An HDMI switch is essentially a hub that connects to one of your TV's HDMI ports, and allows you to use that single HDMI port for multiple channels.
What do I do if I don't have enough HDMI ports?
- A switch takes multiple sources, in this case two game consoles and a laptop, and sends them to a display.
- A 5x1 switch.
- A 1x8 splitter: One source to eight TVs or projectors.
- A 1x2 HDMI splitter takes one HDMI input and sends it to two displays.
