Can you convert a propane Weber grill to a natural gas grill?

Natural gas and propane are the two main types of fuel used for gas grills in North America.

Weber gas grills are designed to be used with either of the two types of fuel.

A standard propane gas grill uses 20 lbs. Most hardware stores, specialty propane dealers, and convenience store/gas station exchanges have a tank.If you want to connect a propane grill to a bulk propane tank system, you have to use a Weber bulkLP installation kit.

Natural gas grills are connected to a home natural gas system, and the gas is usually provided by a utility company.

There are benefits and drawbacks to both versions of gas grills.A propane model can be taken virtually anywhere, but will need to be reloaded or exchanged.A natural gas grill won't need to have a refill because it's not available everywhere.

Some grill owners want to convert their grill because of the benefits and drawbacks. They may have a natural gas grill and have moved to an area where it is not available. They may not want to deal with refilling or exchanging tanks anymore since they have a propane grill.

Due to safety considerations and the complexity of the technology and gas train components, we don't allow conversions or provide conversion kits. The warranty on the unit might be voided if a grill is converted.
