Yes, most stores will allow you to return items not bought there even if you don't have the receipt. You will have to speak with the store manager and request them to accept the return. You will not be refunded through the mode of payment you originally used.
Does Express outlet accept online returns?
We will accept returns and exchanges for items purchased in our U.S. stores and online based on the following requirements. We will not accept a return or exchange if requested more than 60 days after the purchase. Orders placed in stores must also be returned in stores.
Is Express return shipping free?
If you return a portion of your online purchase, shipping charges will be assessed for the return shipping costs. Free Standard Shipping offer is valid on orders placed with your Express Credit Card online at express.com for U.S. Standard Shipping.
Can Express look up receipts?
Without a valid and original receipt, Express can search our database for the original purchase by using the credit card used in the transaction or your phone number.
Does express do online exchanges?
At this time, we don't offer online exchanges. If you'd like to exchange a product, return it using our Returns process and then place a new order.
Can I return items to express without a receipt?
Don't love what you bought? We're happy to accept returns for items within 60 days of your purchase with a valid receipt. If you do not have a valid receipt or if we cannot confirm your purchase in our system, you may exchange the item in-store for another item of equal value but no refund or credit will be issued.
