Can you send gold to cross realm?

I was curious if you could mail gold from one realm to another, I am about to bite the bullet and TSF one of my toons to a different realm.I don't think so, but maybe?

You can't send gold through the mail.When you buy a realm change, you can transfer gold with the character.

How do you do that with animals?Is it possible to put up a shitty pet and sell it for the amount of gold you want to transfer?I don't know if the AH is cross-realm.

Pets are account wide so people usually do this with them.You buy a pet and learn how to care for it.You cage it and sell it on the other server.

The question does not work.There are only gear items that can be traded cross-realm.If someone is on another server, you can't Enchant them in the trade window.
