The International Building Code requires that SPF be separated from the interior of the building by a 15-minute thermal barrier.The evaluation reports show that DC315 is an alternative thermal barrier for SPF.AC 377 Appendix X tested DC315 as an ignition barrier for use in attics and crawlspaces.When applied over spray foam on the exterior side of buildings with architectual metal finish panels, DC315 has been tested in accordance with the standards of the National Fire Protection Association.
