Step 10: Accept that you have been through something.

Depression doesn't make you weak or a failure, but it makes you feel that way and can affect your self-esteem.Depression doesn't make you less of a person.You are a stronger person because you have overcome it.Accept what you have been through and build from there.You should remind yourself that you have accomplished something important, which is overcoming depression.It's a good start to build your confidence.

Step 11: Give yourself some time.

Step 13: Good self-care habits can be practiced.

It's important to care for yourself physically.Make sure you see to your physical needs the best you can.Getting plenty of sleep is one of the things you can do to take care of yourself.Drinking lots of water and eating healthy foods.Exercising for at least 30 minutes a day.It can be done by doing deep breathing, meditating, or progressive muscle relaxation.
