Attribution is the explanation of behaviors whether others or our own.It's an important part of social psychology.Different psychologists have come up with different theories.

All of the theories are based on two core types of attribution.They are.

Dispositional Attribution is the tendency of assigning the cause or responsibility of a certain behavior to the internal characteristic.It is referred to as Internal Attributions.

It has been found that we use internal or dispositional attributions to explain other people's behaviors.There are motives, beliefs, personality and so on that are held responsible for someone's behavior.

In order to make it easier to understand the concept, we are going to use the same examples we used in the post.

A student fails her exam.Her parents think she didn't pay enough attention to her studies.There is a dispositional attribute.
