Luon will eventually pill over time even if you do not have chub rub. Pilling can occur when the fabric rubs against itself or on skin. Pilling will occur mostly on the surface of the fabric and gusset of pants made with Luon.
Which Lululemon wont take pill?
Luxtreme is highly resistant to friction and will not pill. Personally, I feel it is more breathable than luon. Luxtreme is another versatile fabric that can be used for lots of other sweaty pursuits.
