If you fry a similar food, the cooking oil will take on the flavor of the food you fried in it.If you fry chicken in the oil, don't put cider donuts in it.You may have a harder time removing the fried bits and flavor from the oil if the food was coated.It's easy to reuse this cooking oil if you fry vegetables.

Step 11: Don't use the oil more than 2 times.

You can reuse cooking oil if you have properly stored it.Don't use the oil if it's cloudy, foamy, or smells bad.After 1 or 2 uses, never mix different types of cooking oil.The smoke point of the oil can be reduced by using it more than 2 times.It can cause the fat to release harmful free-radicals.

Step 13: The oil can be donated.

Check with your local restaurants and recycling programs to see if you can give them used cooking oil.Biodiesel can be used to power cars or businesses.If you want to donate cooking oil, you can use the internet to find a drop off location.

Step 14: You can recycle any type of cooking oil.

Any type of cooking oil can be used to make biodiesel.Before dropping off your donation, check with the center to make sure you don't mix cooking oil with other liquids.You can pour the oil into the bins at some centers.

Step 15: You should store the cooking oil in a container until you are ready to recycle it.

The cooking oil should be put into a container with a sealable lid.A plastic jar is a sturdy container which won't shatter if dropped.Place the oil at the curb or at a recycling center when you're ready to dispose of it.
