What happens if you drive with expired MOT?
If your MOT has expired then you need to get the car booked in for a fresh test and not drive it until the test has been completed. Remember that you are allowed to drive the car to a pre-booked test appointment.
Can you drive without an MOT if you have one booked?
Driving without an MOT, it's not worth the risk, at all. You are only allowed to drive your car when its MOT has expired IF you've booked in for the test and that's where you're driving to. If you're stopped on the way you MUST be able to prove that you have an appointment with an MOT centre.
