Silicone muffin pans make it easy to release muffins after they have been baked.Extra precautions must be taken when baking with them.
The muffin pan should be placed on the cookie sheet.It's easier to handle in and out of the oven.
When the toothpick comes out clean, bake the muffins until they are thoroughly cooked per the recipe.
Remove the cookie sheet from the oven and transfer the silicone pan with oven mitts or dishtowels to either a wire rack to cool or onto hot pads.The muffins will stay warm for too long and be difficult to remove if you leave them on the cookie sheet.
