Blue or Green has nothing to do with being blocked. Blue means iMessage, i.e., messages sent through Apple, Green means messages sent through SMS. Do Not Disturb will not turn them to green as they are delivered but no sound or notification goes through while Do Not Disturb is on.30 Mar 2016
