Easy baked Crab Balls - LizeeAngel Air fryer Crab Cake Fritters

Hey, hey! This one may be one of the most tested recipes I have ever created. It's a big deal to have a crab cake recipe. It's legit if you know you're coming with the fire.It has to be flames!Maryland style crab cakes are the best, so I wanted to provide a recipe that tastes just as good. Some of the calories are cut back through other cooking methods. There are two ways to make these: baked and air fried.I didn't own an air fryer so it was important to provide directions that would give you a good interior. If you allow air to circulate all around, it's easy to cook in an oven, but juicy is more difficult. The nature of an oven is using dry heat to cook something and having the air circulate around in order to deliver crispiness can sometimes dry things out that are lean, such as seafood. If I must say so myself, these are moist on the inside, crisp outside and delicious down there.

I made these for my brother's birthday in December.Everyone devoured them!I knew I was on to something when I used the air fryer for the first time. The inside of the air fryer is still nice and juicy. You should follow me on social media.I'm obsessed with the air fryer.I guarantee that you will be happy with the result, even if you use the oven or air fryer.

There are crab balls on a rack. The foil is hot enough to get the underside.

The recipe begins with jumbo lump crab.I'd rather have big, juicy pieces of crab in my crab cakes with just enough filling to hold it together, rather than small pieces that you can't identify. The seasonings and wet ingredients need to be mixed together. You can mix until you find the right balance, without breaking apart your jumbo crab that you paid more for.You can store the sauce in the fridge for up to 48 hours before you make your crab cakes with this technique. If you double the recipe and allow the flavors to develop more, you'll have even more delicious cakes.Whenever I'm doing this for a party, I always follow the make ahead method and get great feedback on how great they are.For larger batches, this recipe scales up very easily.
