That is correct!Twenty-three family members are going to Ft. Lauderdale for a seven day cruise.Since we were teenagers, I haven't seen many of my cousins. How fast time flies!

When this post goes live, we will just be getting back from our cruise, which means that I should have a gorgeous tan right now and feel completely relaxed.

Hopefully I will have some great photos and video footage to share with you in a couple of weeks, because I am bringing my big camera on the cruise.

Let's talk about some stuffed peppers, I have a good tan and relaxed state of mind.

The recipe for Easy Stuffed Bell Peppers is a great way to start the new year. This recipe is easy to make, can be prepared a day in advance, and relies on simple real food ingredients. That is how we roll around here: easy, real, and family-friendly.There are lots of do-it-yourself recipes coming this year.

Once the peppers are baked, they can be served with fresh cilantro, a dash of sour cream, or a few slices of jalapeo. The possibilities are endless.

This recipe is a great base recipe to keep on your meal plan rotation, and can be used to make a variety of peppers.

A simple real food meal made with rice, ground beef, tomato sauce, peppers, and spices.

Cut off the tops of the peppers. The seeds should be discarded. If you need to stand up in your baking dish, level the bottoms. You can prepare the peppers by slicing them in half and tossing the seeds and membranes.

The peppers should be placed in a baking dish with a lid.Set aside. The oven should be set to 350F.

Add oil to the skillet. When hot, saute the onion and garlic.

If necessary, drain the extra fat from the ground beef.I brown the ground beef in the same skillet as the onions and garlic.

When the beef is done cooking, stir in the sauce and cooked rice to coat the ingredients.

If you want to test the texture of the peppers, put a knife in the side and bake them for 35 minutes.

Remove the stuffed peppers from the oven and place cheese over them for five minutes to melt the cheese.

In this recipe, I recommend using leftover rice.Reserve 1 cup for the peppers and prepare the rice in advance for dinner.

The peppers should be in the oven for 30 minutes.35 minutes is how long green peppers need.

You can freeze the peppers. The peppers can be frozen without cheese for 24 hours.Once the peppers thaw, bake them.Add 5 minutes to the cooking time and then add cheese.

There are many possible deviations in this recipe.Italian sausage is the meat ingredient.I used air fried popcorn shrimp the next time.I tried it with some shaved steak. All were wonderful.I do not use rice.I use frozen cauliflower because we are watching the carbs. The texture is still there when you mix it with tomato sauce.Extra shakes of spices are added by me.Thanks for sharing!
