FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions, Does Reshoevn8r Water and Stain Repellent Really Work?

The only way to properly clean these materials is with the Laundry system found in our Signature Shoe Cleaning Kit.

Although we don't specify an exact amount because it could vary by application, we recommend about two small squirts of solution for a 4 ounce bowl of water.

Our solution works on a wide range of materials. It can be more difficult to clean suede.A medium bristle brush and a suede eraser are needed for a dry clean. If the shoes are still dirty, you can use a soft bristle brush, solution, and water to clean them.We recommend watching our videos on the YouTube channel. We can give you guidance prior to cleaning if you're still unsure.

It is difficult to provide general directions for all suede. Some applications may show some color bleeding, transfer or color loss.If you've never cleaned a material before, please contact us so we can help you.

No.Plastic or rubber reacts with oxygen and oxidizes. Our cleaner will not reverse the process of the material changing colors.

The Sneaker Laundry Bag is multi-purpose and designed for the laundry system method. The Laundry Bag provides a lot of protection by keeping the shoes tight together during the washing cycle.

Caution is advised when cleaning the washing machine. There are multi colored panels that may bleed in these materials. Please contact us if you are worried.

Cold water is a normal cycle. The normal wash time is between 30 and 45 minutes.

Depending on the size of the shoes, you can wash up to 4 pairs at a time.We only recommend washing 2 pairs of shoes at once. For shoe sizes over 12 we suggest washing each shoe in their own sneaker laundry bag and only doing 1 pair at a time.

The best place to dry shoes is in front of a fan or in a wellventilated area.If you put your shoes in the dryer, the glue will separate and cause your shoe to shrink.

Each laundry bag is designed to fit one pair of shoes up to size 12.One bag per shoe is recommended for shoes that exceed this size. The bag soles should be facing opposite directions. You will have to use an additional laundry bag if the shoe is a high top, bulky, or larger than a size 12.

The materials most commonly used in sneakers were the subject of our sneaker detergent. We don't recommend you use regular detergent because it may contain added chemicals.Don't use detergent that has bleach or whiteners.

Not recommended for Vapor Max or any shoe with an exposed air unit.We don't recommend applying Sole Shields to any shoe with a similar sole. Please email us photos if you don't know if they are compatible with your shoe.

You will need a heat gun, scissors, a marker, and a towel if you want to apply pressure.

If you want to apply Sole Shields, we recommend using a heat gun.A blow dryer can't reach the temperatures required and may not create a great bond between the Sole Shield and the outsole of the sneaker.

You'll want to apply it every 3-6 weeks with regular wear.If they are worn less often, it can last longer.

We don't recommend Water and Stain Repellent on leather for a number of reasons.Leather is water resistant, so it won't stain the way canvas, suede, or knitted materials will. We've seen a white film on the shoe after applying our Water and Stain Repellent to leather. The film can be easily removed with the help of our brush and solution. It won't hurt the shoe.

Our Aersol Repellent can be provided upon request.

Yes!The light barrier around your shoe isn't blocking the breathability.

There could be a slight change in color on dark shoes. It's a good idea to apply our repellent to shoes that could stain. There is no reason to protect black or dark shoes the same way as white or light colored ones.We don't recommend using it on patent leather.

The aerosol and water based spray repellencies can last up to 2 years.
