The 2002 Alero won't start.I thought it was my fuel pump when I first saw it.The security system shut down my car and the mechanic had to disengage it.After he did this, my car started up again.After a few days, my car wouldn't start again, and now he says it may be my ignition.I don't know anything about cars, but I want to know if any of this sounds familiar.

There is a computer module under the glove box that has a black wire, a yellow wire and a B6 cut wire.

It's your switch.There is a piece of electronics in the key.The vehicle will not start if it doesn't match the sensor data.They sell them on Amazon.Can you do it on your own?The reprogram procedures have been included.
