You can send a message to more than one friend.This will be a group chat with everyone sharing the same conversation.Group chats can be created on Facebook's website and mobile app.
Step 1: Go to Messenger with your Facebook account.
You can't use the Facebook app to send messages.You have to use the Messenger app from Facebook.Messages can be read on the Facebook website or in the Messenger app.
Step 2: "New message" is what you'll get when you tap the button.
Go to the lower-right corner and tap the "+" button.There is a button in the upper-right corner that looks like a paper and pencil.
Step 3: A person can be added to the conversation.
To add someone to the conversation, type their name.You can see matches from your friends list as you type.If you want to add someone, tap them.
Step 4: Group conversations can be created by adding more people.
To find a second person, keep typing after adding the first person.When you've added everyone you want to send the message to, tap results again.
Step 5: You can type the message you want to send.
After you've added all the recipients, tap the "Write a message" field to begin typing.You can use the various options above the text field to insert objects.
Step 6: Send the message when you're happy with it.
When you're ready to send the message, tap the "Send" button.The Send button is similar to a paper plane.All of the recipients will receive the message, and any replies will be sent to the entire group.
Step 7: The group conversation's name should be changed.
Messenger allows you to change the name of a group conversation so that it isn't just a list of recipients.The process is different for both the iPad and the phone.You can change the name by tapping the button.The group conversation has a new name.The group conversation can be opened with a tap at the top of the screen.Select "Change name" from the upper-right corner.The group conversation needs a new name.
Step 8: Use your Facebook account to log into the website.
You need to log in with the account that you want to send the group message from.
Step 9: There is a button in the lower-right corner.
Underneath the list of your online friends, you'll find this.The "New Message" button can be found in the minimized chat window if your list is minimized.If you want to add people to an existing conversation, tap the gear button in the corner of the chat window, then select "add friends to chat."
Step 10: The people you want to chat with should be added.
You should start typing the names of your friends.From the list of results that appear as you type, you can select them.You can add as many friends as you want.Click the "X" next to the person's name to remove them.
Step 11: You can type your message.
In the text field, you can type the message you want to send.If you want to attach a file from your computer, you can click on the paperclip button or the picture button.
Step 12: Send the message.
Return the message to the recipients.Any replies people make will be visible to everyone.
