Look for the combination on the safe's manual. Check the back of the owner's manual for a small card that has your safe's information printed on it. Find the 5-digit number that's labeled as the “Factory Code” so you know the combination to unlock your safe.
How do you open a Sentry safe if you forgot the combination?
- Slide the nail file from the nail clippers.
- Insert the nail file tip into the lock.
- Jiggle the nail file until you can rotate the lock.
- When you hear a clicking sound, continue working on the inside of the lock to ensure you've reached the last 'click' sound of the safe.
