How do I paint over chalk paint if I change my mind?

Annie's wax can be used to apply Chalk Paint®.The wax must feel dry to the touch and not tacky if you want to paint over it.People know that it's not a problem to paint using chalk paint over previously painted pieces.

There is a downside to poly finish that isn't an issue with wax.There are sometimes yellow or pink spots on the wood due to the tannins being pulled from it through the porous chalk paint.This doesn't happen often, but when it does it is almost always with white or very light paint.
