How do I stop my TV from making a popping sound?

I recently bought a 55" class.I have had a 4K Ultra HD TV for a few days and I am starting to notice that the sound pops every few minutes. It doesn't make a difference if the volume is higher or lower, it still pops.Is there anyone who can give me advice on what to do, or is there someone who has already solved the problem?

The "Manuals and Downloads" section of the Support Page has the latest MU and Q Series firmware version 1230.0 that addresses the pop noise issue.

I just bought a thing and am happy with it.I wanted to know if anyone else had the issue and if there was a solution. The TV speaker is built in.One cord from tv to box.It doesn't seem to do it all the time.It happened a couple days ago, I don't remember if it happened yesterday or not, but tonight it's doing it on NBC football game, and it did not seem to do it all day on other channels. It happens during commercials.I will be looking at this thread for answers.

I was coming here to ask the exact same question. The popping in the 65" 8 series is driving us crazy. The tv is connected to a bose V35 via optical cable and the popping is frequent enough to drive a sane person crazy. Before the new TV, the bose system never had a popping issue.I have a new optical cable coming tomorrow but I don't think it will fix anything.

It would be helpful if other users chimed in with possible soltions.I hope we find a solution soon.

I'm going to use another cable to connect the TV to the box.I'm wondering if that's the problem.
