- Press Home on your remote.
- Scroll to and select Streaming Channels.
- Enter DIRECTV STREAM in the search box, or scroll through the channels to DIRECTV STREAM.
- Select Buy to install DIRECTV STREAM. If prompted, enter your Roku PIN.
Can you hook up directv to a Roku TV?
You simply need to plug Roku to your TV's HDMI port like yo would with the DirecTV box. If your TV sports multiple HDMI ports they can be connected to at the same time. If you wish to switch from Roku to DirecTV and back again, just switch HDMI ports (HDMI1 to HDMI2 up to HDMI4 and beyond).
Why can't I get directv on my Roku?
DirecTV does NOT have an app on the Roku. AT&T TV NOW, which used to be called DIRECTV NOW, does have an app for media streaming devices. The two providers, though both owned by AT&T, have nothing to do with each other. DirecTV is satellite service so no app for TV.Jun 12, 2018
