The AAT Level 1 Access Award in Bookkeeping is a new flexible home study qualification launched in January 2018 which can be studied via distance learning with a personal tutor or by self studying. Access qualifications are an entry point for students who need to develop their finance or business skills.

What is covered in AAT Level 1?
It has been designed to provide students with basic accountancy, bookkeeping and payroll knowledge. Students will learn how to use computerised accounting software and spreadsheet programmes, as well as gain an introduction to basic business principles.

Can I do AAT without training provider?
