Why can't I join lifeboat?
If your account has been locked/banned, it's because you have broken one of our server rules. We reserve the right to ban accounts that are in violation of our server rules, as stated in our Terms and Conditions. If you believe you were wrongly punished, please send us an appeal.
Can you join lifeboat on Java?
We don't currently have a Java server available, but you can play on our bedrock servers with Windows 10! Then add it for Java edition.
How do you get lifeboat on Minecraft Java?
- First download the game for iOS, Android, or Windows 10 Edition.
- We use Xbox Live usernames for logging into Lifeboat. Please create an account here.
- After you have installed Minecraft, go into the app's settings and sign in to Xbox Live. You are now ready to join Lifeboat!
Can you play lifeboat on Minecraft Education Edition?

How do you join someone on lifeboat?
With an Xbox profile, it's easy to find your friends from Lifeboat. Just add their gamertag or click on their username from the Minecraft pause menu and invite them to any Lifeboat minigame when you're both online. You can even get notifications when your friends sign on.
How do I join my friend's Minecraft server?
- Open Minecraft and press “Play”.
- Select the “Servers” tab, then press “Add Server”.
- Fill in any name for “Server Name”, then type in the IP address without the port into the “Server Address” slot.
- Press “Save”, then scroll down and click on the server to join it.
