To change the Mode, go to the Geofencing from the Home Screen and manually switch to Home or Away Mode. tado° will stay in the chosen Mode until a Home member changes the Mode again. This change controls your whole tado° heating system and not just individual rooms.
Can you use tado without internet?
No, you only need an internet connection to use tado° to control your heating system. The Internet Bridge, which connects all tado° devices to the internet, is directly plugged into the router using an Ethernet cable.
Why is my tado not working?
If it is not working, please check that your router is powered and reset the router. This will usually resolve a temporary issue with the internet connection. If the internet connection is working, make sure that: your tado° Bridge is powered and connected to the router.
How do I reset tado?
To restart the Smart Radiator Thermostat, remove the batteries from the device and wait 10 seconds before putting them back, then close the battery compartment. Then wait 1 minute before you remount the device. This ensures the device will calibrate successfully. Your device will then restart automatically.
