How do you reset the control lock on a KitchenAid dishwasher?

The dishwasher's control lock is supposed to stop the dishwasher from being used unintentionally.It can be used while the dishwasher is running.The dishwasher can't be turned on accidentally or turned off when running if the child likes to touch the buttons.
You have to press the actual button to get Control Lock activated.
The Control Lock light will flash 3 times if the feature is enabled.The Control Lock can be activated by pressing the button on the dedicated key.Press and hold the Options key for 3 seconds to turn off Control Lock.
Press and hold CONTROL LOCK for 3 seconds if the dishwasher has a dedicated Control Lock button.
You can turn Control Lock off by opening and closing the door, but you may need toDisabling Sleep Mode by pressing either Start/Resume or Cancel.
The Control Lock light will be on if your model requires you to press and hold pliers to lock the controls.
