How many times can I take the real estate exam?
Examination are offered in an electronic format in several places.
The exams are subject to cancellation.If the exam center is closed due to unforeseen circumstances, your exam date will be changed at no additional cost.Expenses beyond the cost of the exam will not be held responsible by the Department.
The multiple-choice format is used for the exams.The salesperson or broker examination content has four choices for answers.
You need a valid form of photo identification to be admitted into an examination.Only the following forms of photo identification will be accepted.
You will not be admitted into the examination if you do not have a valid photo identification.
Cell phone use and/or mere possession of a cell phone during an exam is strictly prohibited.All cell phones have to be powered off and placed in a locker.A storage table will be set up for disallowed items when individual lockers are unavailable.You will be disqualified if you fail to comply with examination administration rules.
The use of a personal calculator will not be allowed because basic calculators are provided for your use.
Section 1798.40(e) of the California Civil Code states that you can't inspect your book or answer sheet after the exam is over.
The Department of Real Estate and its employees will not be responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings that are brought to a real estate examination.If personal belongings are brought to the exam, they will be placed in a storage area apart from the owner.
123.Any person who subverts or attempts to subvert any licensing examination of the administration of an examination is guilty of a felony.
The authority provided for in any other provision of law is not precluded by this section.
There was a score of 123.5.The superior court in and for the county may issue an injunction if the acts or practices that are about to take place constitute a violation of Section 123.
499.It is possible for a board to deny, suspend, or otherwise restrict a license on the basis of Section 123 pertaining to subversion of licensing exams.
No person shall cheat on, subvert, or attempt to subvert a licensing examination given by the department.The following include, but are not limited to, engaging in, soliciting, or procuring any of the following:
10153.3.It is against the law for anyone with respect to any examination under this part to use deception or fraud with regard to his or her identity.
2703.A person taking an examination for a license issued by the Department must abide by all of the rules from the time of entry into the examination room until the examinee leaves the room.
Upon completion of the exam, your results were provided to you.Within five business days after your examination, additional correspondence may be mailed to you.
The examinees who pass don't know their final score.
When unsuccessful, you will be notified of the actual score and the percentage of questions answered correctly.The overall score can't be obtained by averaging the percentages.If you don't get a passing grade, you can apply to take the exam again.
