How much does it cost to install a tow package?
I bought a car to tow behind my motor home.Is it wise to expect a cost for installation?The equipment was reasonable, but I only got a $4500 quote for installation.Hope someone can help.
I had my Dodge Dakota installed in less than 4 hours.If the shop rate was $150 per hour, it would take 30 hours to make $4500.
The parts from Blue Ox were included in the price of the tow hooks on my Ford Edge.Tow hooks were used to replace the Ford internal "bumper" behind the front facade.They would have spent another $400 on the lights and emergency break.
The Blue OX package was installed on my Jeep Grand Cherokee about 6 months ago.The base plate cost around $900.
Thanks to everyone.There were only two authorized blue ox dealers in Las Vegas.The break system was the most expensive at $1,000.The ox base plate is less than $400.I thought about calling blue ox back to find out how much their dealer is charging.Findley RV is in Vegas.
