Riders can request a trip for a set number of hours and miles. Riders are charged a flat-rate of $50 per hour based upon the estimated duration and distance of their trip rounded up to the nearest hour and $0.83* per minute after that, plus surcharges and tolls if applicable.
Does Uber charge by time or distance?
If your pickup point or destination change after you request the trip, your fare will be charged based on the time and distance of the actual trip. If your driver does not follow the estimated route and takes a detour, your fare may change to account for the extra distance driven.
