Pigs are very smart and can be trained to use a litter box or the bathroom outside.You'll need to set up a litter box if you want yours to go inside.It knows when to use the restroom if you keep it confined in a small area or crate while house training.
Step 1: Pick a large litter box.
Pig litter box training is similar to that of cats.The box must be large enough to allow the pig to turn around.The pig will be able to use the bathroom comfortably.Plastic storage boxes or a cat litter box with low sides can be used for smaller pigs.You may need to cut an entrance for the pig in order to use a plastic kid pool.It needs to be shorter than a cat.
Step 2: There is a good spot for your litter box.

A pig can be trained to obey certain commands.If you use the same phrase in the bathroom, your pig will associate it with the activity.You could try "Go potty," "Bathroom time," or " Outside potty."When the pig starts actually going, say it every time you take your pig to the bathroom.
Step 11: Praise is a reward.
Praise the pig when it goes to the bathroom.Say "Good pig!"The pig will get the idea it's done a good job if the tone is bright and happy.
Step 12: Don't punishing mistakes.
There are going to be accidents in the house.It isn't going to do any good to punish when you find an accident.The action of going to the bathroom won't be connected with the punishment.You can say "No!" if you catch your pig in the bathroom.firmly.They should be taken to the bathroom.
Step 13: If you want to avoid treat rewards, you should.
Food rewards may be detrimental.Adding food may confuse pigs.They're smart enough to trick you into taking them to the bathroom when they want a treat.
