How To Activate Active X

Modern websites can be difficult to navigate if you are using an older version of Internet Explorer.Every time you visit a website that uses Adobe flash or some other type of internet application, you have to manually turn on Active X, otherwise you won't be able to really use the website at all.It shouldn't take more than a few minutes to learn how to get Active X activated.

Step 1: The Internet Explorer toolbar has a "Tools" button.

Step 2: Click on "security" and then set a custom level.

Step 3: Plug-ins and ActiveX Controls.

Step 4: "Enable" should be checked next to "ActiveX Controls and Plug-ins".

"Script ActiveX Controls are marked safe for scripting and should be enabled as well."

Step 5: Hit "Apply" to make sure the changes take effect.
