You can learn how to use the app on your phone or computer.You must have a subscription to your television service provider to be able to use HBO GO.You can sign in with your television service provider's password if you download the HBO GO app.If you don't have a cable or television service, you can purchase a subscription to watch shows and movies on the internet.
Step 1: Go to the Play Store app.
The Play Store app has an icon that looks like a triangle.
Step 2: You can type hbo in the search bar.
The search bar is located at the top of the store.There is a list of apps in the search bar.
Step 3: If you want, you can tap HBO GO.
The app has a black icon that says "Hbo GO" in white and grey letters.The app info page is in the Play Store.
Step 4: Go to install.
There is a green button at the top of the info page.You can install this on your phone.
Step 5: Go to the store.
You can open HBO GO after it's installed, either by tapping the icon on your home screen or on the info page in the Play Store.
Step 6: The Menu button can be tapped.
There is a Menu button in the upper left corner of the app.The menu is displayed here.
Step 7: Sign in.
It is at the bottom of the menu.
Step 8: You can tap your television service provider.
This could be your cable or satellite provider.The television service providers are listed in chronological order.Before you can use the app, you have to have a subscription to the service.
Step 9: You can type your password and sign in.
The account you have through your television service provider has a password.Contact your television service provider if you don't know your password.To sign in, tap the button below the boxes.
Step 10: You have to create an HBO GO ID.
You have to create an HBO GO ID the first time you sign in.This must be between 3-14 digits and have no spaces or special characters.
Step 11: You can choose to type your email and zip code.
When you sign in, you are asked to provide your email and zip code.This step is not mandatory.
Step 12: Go to save.
This saves your account.You can use the app to browse and watch shows.
