You can authorize your Mac or Windows PC so you can use it to sync and play your purchases from the iTunes Store.You'll learn how to connect an iPad to the iTunes program for Windows so that you can sync your content.
Step 1: You can open your settings on your device.
This gear icon can be found on the home screen or in a folder.If you want to sign in to your iPad with a specific Apple ID, you can use this method.
Step 2: You can sign in to your device.
If you don't have an Apple ID, this will be at the top of the menu.The account name will appear at the top if you're already signed in.There is no need to change the account if it is already signed in.To sign out of the current account, tap the account name, scroll down to the bottom, and then tap.
Step 3: You need to enter your Apple ID and password.
This is the password that you use to log in to your account.Once your password is approved, you will be able to log in to your account.To verify the 6-digit verification code that was sent to your phone or device, follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 4: You can open Apple Music (macOS Catalina and later) or iTunes.
Mac users will find Apple Music in the Applications folder since the iTunes app is no longer a part of macOS.If you have Windows or an older version of macOS, you should be able to find it in the Start menu.Up to 5 computers can be authorized at the same time.Before you can continue, you have to deauthorize one of the computers.Learn how to deauthorize iTunes.You can use Apple Books or the Apple TV app if you're using Catalina.If you authorize the computer, you will be able to access all of your purchases in each app.
Step 5: You can click on the Account menu.
It's at the top of the screen on either Macintosh or Windows.
Step 6: You need to sign in with your Apple ID.
You can skip this step if you already see the account name at the top of the menu.Click if you want to log in now.If it's not the account you want to use, click first.Go back to the menu after signing in.
Step 7: Authorizations are available in the menu.
There will be additional options.
Step 8: Click to authorize the computer.
You'll be able to access your purchases on this computer once it's authorized.
Step 9: You can open Apple Music (macOS Catalina and later) or iTunes.

Step 10: Attach your devices to the computer.
You can use the cable that came with your device.There is a button in the top left corner of the app that looks like a phone.This is called a device icon.The two devices can only be synchronized to one computer at a time.You'll be prompted to wipe the contents of this phone or tablet if you've already done that.Click when prompted to erase the contents and sync the phone or tablets with the computer.
Step 11: You can click on the device icon.
There is a button at the top left corner of the app.Make sure your iPad's screen is unlocked if you don't see the button.Follow the on-screen instructions if there is a message on the phone or tablets asking you to trust the computer.
Step 12: You can click on the type of media you want to sync.
The left panel has your sync options.You will need to adjust each media type's settings.Both separately.
Step 13: Select what you want to sync.
If you selected, check the box next to "sync music" at the top of the right panel, then choose which music to sync.To sync music, click in the left panel, then check the box next to "sync music" at the top of the right panel.You can choose if you want to sync all of the songs on your computer or just specific music.To select artists, songs, genres, etc., use the checkboxes in the bottom section of the page.You can sync any of those types of media by selecting, or in the left panel.You can choose your preferences if you check the box at the top.
Step 14: Click Apply.
It is at the bottom-right corner of the app.You should be able to sync the selected content to your phone immediately.Click if the sync doesn't start.
