How To Add a Stop During a Ride on Uber

Did you not add a stop to your trip?No worries.You can add a stop to your trip even after your ride starts.

Step 1: Inside your app, open up the trip in progress.

There is a black icon with a word on it.The ride in progress will be opened up by this.

Step 2: To open that section, tap the bar at the bottom of the screen.

Step 3: The driver details are listed in the box containing other options.

The current destination, price, sharing, and cancellation options are listed in this area.You are looking too far down the screen if you see "Save this destination" or the driver information.

Step 4: The "add or change" button can be found to the right of the current destination.

Step 5: The + button is on the right of the initial destination.

Step 6: The stop should be kept for about three minutes.

Go to the informational area at the bottom of the screen and then tap the "Done" button.

Step 7: If you want to make a second stop, fill it out.

Go to the line that says "add a stop" and look for the second destination.Use the places name and city to type in your second stop, then tap the matching item in the search list.

Step 8: The process starts with tapping the + sign to the right of the third line.

You cannot make more than three stops in a ride.Allow the driver to finish the ride in order to make more stops.Start a new request with additional stops.

Step 9: You should confirm that you would like to update the trip.

The fares and fees may change after you confirm the change.There is a "Update" button.

Step 10: Make sure the changes are correct.

There is a box on the screen that shows the stops progression.The lighter colored top line is your pickup location, and the darker colored bottom lines are your stops in the order you were expecting to see presented to your driver.If you still have to change them, you can do so by rearranging the stops in a more logical order.
