How To Add Someone to a Direct Message on Slack on Android
You can learn how to contact someone using a direct message on Slack.This will show you how to add another person to a group direct message.You will need to sign into the correct team if you want to send a message to the right person.
Step 1: You can open it.
It looks like a black letter S in the middle of a white square, surrounded by a multicolor circle.The previous versions of the app had an icon that looked like a symbol.
Step 2: The square icon is on the left side of the screen.
The icon for your team will be the same as this.The menu options should be on the left-hand side of the screen.If you aren't signed into the correct team, tap the four squares next to "Home" and choose the right team.If you are signed into more than one team at a time, this is not necessary.
Step 3: To the right of Direct Messages, tap +.
Step 4: You can use the name of the person you want to send the message to.
Step 5: You can tap their name.
In order to talk to them in a group chat, you have to search for and select multiple different people.If you have successfully selected a person, their name will appear in blue in the search bar and their profile image will change to a white tick on a blue background.
Step 6: Start by tapping.
This can be found at the top right corner of the screen.
Step 7: You can type your message next to the blue arrow.
The person or people you have selected will receive your message.
Step 8: You can open it.

Step 10: You can add someone to the Direct Message conversation.
You can only add people to a group chat that already has multiple people in it, not a direct message between you and only one other person.
Step 11: The small arrow is in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 12: You can add someone by tapping.
Step 13: You can add someone to the group chat.
Multiple new people can be added at the same time.If you have successfully selected a person, their name will appear in blue in the search bar and their profile image will change to a white tick on a blue background.
Step 14: Go to Start.
The top right corner of the screen has this.
Step 15: Next to your text, tap the blue arrow to type your message.
