How to adjust a sprinkler head is covered in the Hunter Sprinkler Head Adjustment Tool.

The heads are set to 180 degrees. It is possible to adjust the sprinklers with water on or off.Initial adjustments should be made before installation.

The Hunter wrench has a steel end.To increase or decrease the radius, turn the screw clockwise or counterclockwise. It can be reduced up to 25%.

If you turn the adjustment screw clockwise more than five times, you may lose the radius screw.

The results may be a wet walkway or a dry turf area if the right side of the arcs is not properly aligned. The right side arcs can be realigned. The sprinkler body assembly can be turned left or right to realign the stop. The soil around the sprinkler may need to be removed temporarily to allow you to grip the housing.

One way to reset the right arcs is to remove the internal assembly from the body.Attach the internal assembly back into the body with the nozzle aligned to the right side of the area you want to irrigate. You can adjust the left arcs to an appropriate setting after realigning the right arcs.
