How To Adjust Chacos with Toe Straps

You need to adjust the straps for ultimate comfort and support before you can explore in your new Chacos.It takes just a few minutes to adjust.Put your foot in, loosen the straps, and tighten them around it.It is possible to make sure that they maintain their fit for a long time.

Step 1: Before you put your feet in, loosen the straps.

If you want to fit your foot inside, you will need to loosen the straps a lot.The straps on your foot can be tightened later.The straps need to be loosened in the correct order.The next strap should be loosened to open it.

Step 2: There is a tug on the outside of the strap.

You don't need to touch the buckle.The strap needs to be pulled towards the inside of the foot.Pull your left foot right.Pull it left if you have the right foot.Your sandals are sturdy.Moderate force should be used to loosen the straps.The strap should be loosened as far as it will go.It will be easier to put your foot in later.

Step 3: The top strap has a suck on it.

The strap goes from the outside of the foot to the big toe.The middle strap and the toe loop overlap.The end of the strap is near the foot.To loosen the strap, tug it upwards towards the big toe.

Step 4: To widen it, tug downwards on the toe loop.

There is a small loop around the big toe.The strap should be loosened by pulling it down towards the ball of your foot.You should widen it as much as you can.

Step 5: Pull up the bottom strap as far as you can.

The strap runs from your toe to your heels.It is under the strap.The end of the strap needs to be loosened.Your shoe is ready to be worn after your straps are loose.

Step 6: Take your foot out of the shoe.

You should be able to fit your foot inside after you loosened the shoe.If you want the straps to lie flat on your skin, smooth them out.Put the back strap around your foot.If you can't fit your foot, you need to loosen the straps even more.

Step 7: Next to your big toe's knuckle is the outside of the strap.

The toe loop is at the bottom of this picture.Go towards the outer foot.The bottom strap will be tightened.To remember how to tighten your Chacos.The "knuckle" is referred to in this step.

Step 8: The top strap overlaps the toe loop.

You should look at where the top strap crosses the toe.Pull this section away from the foot.This will make the toe loop tighter.The "toe" step is called "knuckle, toe, Buckle."

Step 9: The strap of the buckle is near the inside of your foot.

This is to the left of the buckle for the right foot.This will be to the right of the buckle for the left foot.The strap goes below the sole.Pull this part up to tighten the strap.The buckle step is called "knuckle, toe, Buckle."

Step 10: Take the end of the strap and put the shoe in.

You can see where the strap comes out by looking at the side of the buckle.This will be to the right of the buckle for your right foot.The left foot is to the left of the buckle.To tighten the shoe, pull this strap.You are ready to explore!The shoe should be snug and not cut into your skin.

Step 11: The belt should only be adjusted when the Chacos are put on.

Once you have adjusted the Chacos to your foot, you can put them on and take them off.The other straps will fit your foot.After washing or flossing the Chacos, you may need to adjust the entire foot.

Step 12: You need to break in the shoes at least 2 weeks before using them.

Before you go on a trip with your Chacos, make sure to adjust the straps.The Chacos need to be broken in every day.The straps will conform to your feet.

Step 13: If they start to hurt, loosen the straps.

The straps should not hurt or cut off circulation.If you begin to feel uncomfortable, tug the straps loose until you feel better.You have to tug the top strap loose before you loosen the toe loop.

Step 14: The straps have fabric softener.

Flossing the straps is a process.It is hard to loosen the straps when they become stiff and tight.The water should be mixed with the fabric softener.This mixture should be applied to the straps.Wait for 2 minutes.The straps should be loosened as much as possible.Remove the shoe from the water and let it dry.After the shoe is dry, slip it back onto your foot and tighten the straps.

Step 15: The straps on the shoe need to be flossed every 3 months.

Chacos can be washed in a laundry machine with cold water.After washing, soak the straps in water and fabric softener for 2 minutes.Remove the fabric softener with water.Take the shoes out of the air and put them back in.There is another load of laundry that you can wash Chacos with.After taking your Chacos into the sand, floss the straps.Cleaning the straps will prevent them from becoming inflexible.
