You can learn how to archive a Slack channel in order to remove it from your workspace's channel list.
Step 1: You can open the Slack app on your phone.
The app looks like a circle on the menu.You can sign in to the workspace you want to edit if you tap the blue button in the lower left corner.
Step 2: The workspace icon is on the top- left.
The initials of your workspace's name can be seen in the upper- left corner of the screen.On the left-hand side, it will open your navigation menu.
Step 3: You can archive the channel by tapping it.
You can find it under the CHANNELS heading on the menu.This will open the channel chat.You can switch to a different workspace if you tap the four-squares icon in the upper-right corner of the menu.
Step 4: At the top of the chat, tap the channel's name.
The chat conversation displays your channel's name at the top.On a new page, it will open this channel's details.
Step 5: Go to the Archive and scroll down.
The Advanced heading at the bottom of the menu is where this option is written.You will need to confirm your actions in a new window.
Step 6: The confirmation pop-up has a ARCHIVE option.
The channel will be removed from the list and closed for members.
